Preparation Method for Rava Masala Idli
Ingredients :
1/2 cup Rava
1/2 cup curd
1/8 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp Eno fruit salt
Salt as per taste
Water as per requirement
For topping or masala :
2 tbsp chopped Capsicum
2 tbsp chopped Tomatoes
1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
1 tsp Red chilly powder
1 tsp Pav bhaji masala
1/2 tsp Sambhar masala
2 tsp pure Ghee
Recipe : (this recipe can be prepared and cooked in 30 minutes or less)
Add curd and Rava, mix it and add water as per the requirement to set the consistency of the batter.
Add ⅛ tsp of baking soda and salt as per taste.
Cover this mixture and keep aside for 20 minutes to set.
Then add 1 tsp oil and ½ tsp Eno fruit salt, mix it well.
Pour this mixture into Idli molds and steam it for 8 to 10 minutes at high flame.
Unmold the Idlis.
Take a bowl, mix fine chopped Capsicum and Tomatoes.
Add salt, Turmeric powder, Chilly powder, Pav bhaji masala, Sambhar masala, and pure Ghee, and mix it well.
Coat the Idlis in this mixture and stick this mixture at the top of the Idlis.
Steam this Idlis for 2 minutes.
Masala Rava Idli is ready to serve.
Serve Idlis with chutney and tomato sauce.
