Why people eat fast food?

But they don’t know it contains harmful artificial flavours and colours, high calories, vinegar, fats, preservatives and much more that are harmful to our health. Sellers try to make it cheaper so they get more profit by selling it. We won’t get any nutrients from this type of food. Possibility of stale food is also there. So eating fast food regularly affects our health and may cause some health problems like indigestion, stomach pain, obesity, etc. Sometimes regularly eating of junk food may cause serious disease also.

So the question is, should we entirely stop to eat fast food?
The answer is no, don’t avoid it entirely. Fast food can be prepared nutritiously and hygienically at home.

How we can convert fast food in healthy food?

  • By using good quality ingredients.
  • Fried items can be made using healthy oils like rice bran oil, sunflower oil, corn oil, etc.
  • Use wheat flour instead of all purpose flour while making noodles, Frankie, bread, pizza, burger, etc.
  • Try to use different types of cereals and pulses that we are not regularly using in our daily meal, so we get nutrients from them.
  • Increase the use of fruits and vegetables in our recipes.
  • Eat homemade chips and other snacks to avoid preservatives which are available in packed food.
  • Make the food hygienically to avoid health problems.
  • Try to eat steamed items rather than fried items.
  • Drink fresh juice, lemonade, buttermilk instead of harmful soft drinks.

So fast food can be made ‘healthy food’ by our own choice of its ingredients.
